In June 2021, the Federal Health Conference decided to realign the vaccination strategy. It was also decided that the operation of the vaccination centres should be wound down after 30 September 2021.
As a result, CIBORIUS successfully completed its last deployments in the nationwide vaccination centres on 30 September 2021, including in Baden-Baden and Elsterwerda.
In Elsterwerda and Baden-Baden alone, 15 security employees, all of whom have undergone certified training on infection protection, have been on duty every day since January 2021 to ensure security and order, direct visitors, manage the car parks and secure the property at night.
By using the mobile burglar alarm system, the vaccine storage room in each vaccination centre was also electronically secured. This, too, is part of the CIBORIUS security concept specially designed for vaccination centres.
