The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai will acquire an 80% stake in the well-known robot developer Boston Dynamics on 21 June 2021.
Hyundai – together with its sister brand Kia – wants to transform itself into a provider of “smart mobility solutions”. This included investments in future technologies, including self-driving cars, artificial intelligence, aircraft for urban mobility and robots. (Source: DPA)
